Yimba Uganda would love to hear from you and see how we can best connect you to work in one of our in-house programs, or help link you with a partner program in the local community – whatever will best suit your skill set.

Fundraise for Yimba!

Yimba Uganda is a predominately Ugandan run organisation and relies on the generous support of our local and global community to help ensure our programs can continue to run sustainably.

If you would like to utilise your skills, passions and networks to help raise money or awareness for Yimba Uganda in your local community, we would love to hear from you!

The sky is the limit when it comes to unique and diverse ways that you can fundraise. Simply choose which avenue suits you best. This may include an online appeal, an event hosted in your local community, a special dinner with friends, selling Yimba crafts at your church or local market, and more!

Cultural Exchange Program

How would you like to actively participate and experience Ugandan culture from right at home in Australia? Members of Yimba Uganda’s team are often visiting Australia, offering schools and community groups the unique opportunity to participate in their Cultural Exchange program. This program provides participates with the opportunity to engage in the celebration of Ugandan culture through a variety of crafts, African drumming workshops and musical performances. This is also a unique opportunity to find out more the realities of life growing up in Uganda, various social issues and discover how Yimba Uganda is working to combat such issues.

The next cultural exchange tour will be running from January 14th until April 13th 2018 throughout Victoria, Australia.
